Biggleswade’s branch of Aldi was ram-raided last night by burglars who appear to have made off with the supermarket’s cash machine.
A cordon remains in place this morning after the raid, which comes less than two months after a similar incident at Stotfold’s Co-op – which was also burgled last month.
The Comet is awaiting information from police about last night’s incident at the store off Bonds Lane.
An Aldi spokesman declined to comment.
