Stevenage FC will be hosting its first beer festival in partnership with town brewery Bog Brew.

The free festival will run from 12 noon until 7pm on Easter Monday, April 22, in the South Stand car park of the Lamex Stadium – located next to the Broadhall Suite.

The club is also hoping visitors will watch Stevenage FC play Exeter City, with the game kicking off at 3pm.

The beer festival will feature live music acts, between 1pm and 3pm, and 11 locally brewed beers, ales and ciders:

The Bog Brew beers which will be available are as follows: Bottoms Up 3.8%, Pail Ale 5.3%, Barking Spider 3.8%, Porter Potty 4.1%, Bombs Away 6.3%, 2mhaard Belgium Blonde on Keg 5.4%.

Tring Brewery will be offering Citra Session 3.9%, and Brock Bitter 3.7%, while Tiny Rebel Brewery’s Cwych 4.6% will be for sale too.

For cider lovers there’s the Special Branch Medium/Sweet 5.4% by Apple Cottage Cider.

The club will also be trialling a new bar in the East Terrace on the same day, with the hope of making it a permanent feature at matches next season.
