A bearded man is being hunted after a woman was sexually assaulted in Shefford.
The victim was grabbed and attacked as she walked along Hitchin Road between 10.30pm and 11pm on Saturday evening.
Police described the bearded offender as white and in his late 30s, wearing a hooded top.
Det Con Amanda Durrant said: “We urge anyone who saw this incident or has any information that could help us with our investigation to come forward.
“We would remind people to be vigilant when out walking after dark and keep to well-lit or well-populated areas.”
