A SCOUT group is hoping to piece together a sizeable donation in a fundraising event this Easter.
Stevenage Scouts will be at their Shephall View headquarters today (Monday) where there will be a 24,000-piece jigsaw on display.
The puzzle took four months to complete.
At 15 foot by five foot, it is so large that today marks the first time the jigsaw has been laid down as one whole piece.
Stevenage resident Kathie Williams, who completed the puzzle, said: “It is so large I can’t lay it out flat on my living room floor so at the moment it is on separate pieces on big boards.
“The scout hall is large enough to lay it out whole for people to see and to make a donation if they would like.”
All donations on the day will go towards the Scout Group.
