A LIVE debate involving all five Labour leadership candidates will be broadcast from Stevenage next week.

BBC Radio Five Live’s Victoria Derbyshire will host the debate in front of a live audience next Thursday (July 29) at the Oval Community Centre, as David Miliband, Ed Miliband, Ed Balls, Andy Burnham and Diane Abbott put forward their case to lead the party.

The candidates will outline their visions for the future of the Labour party and face questions from the audience, as well as 5 live listeners.

The event, from 10am to 12pm, will be the only live radio debate during the contest, and will also be broadcast on the BBC News Channel.
