Former Stevenage striker has three clubs in for his signature
Basingstoke Town remain hopeful of signing former Stevenage striker Tim Sills.
Sills, who played 133 times for Town in a previous spell at the club, left Stevenage in January to sign for Aldershot Town, but has since found himself a free agent this summer and is currently in talks with Basingstoke.
Town’s bid could be hijacked, however, as two other clubs are in the hunt for Sills’ signature and Basingstoke manager Frank Gray says he uncertain as to whether his club will be the one which secures the 31-year-old’s signature before the start of the new season.
