A daredevil motorcycle stunt show will light up this year’s Ashwell Show.

The show takes place at Elbrook Meadow in the village today, and will run from 8.30am-5pm.

Events in the arena will include the Flyin Ryan Motorcycle Stunt Show, which will see the motorcyclist and his family perform a variety of stunts, culminating in Ryan jumping through an exploding ball of flames.

For those who prefer more sedate attractions, the show, which is supported by The Crow, will also include a Punch and Judy stall, a mini farm, as well as the usual array of animal and produce shows. Dog and equine competitions will be running throughout the afternoon, and a selection of vintage cars and tractors will be on display. Local companies and organisations will be represented in the trade stand section, and a wide variety of locally-produced food and drink will be on sale.

Entry is £8 for adults and £4 for children aged five-15. Children under the age of five go free. For more information on the show, visit www.ashwellshow.co.uk.
