FOUR top local bands have all chipped in to dedicate a night of their time to raise money for charity.
The Frays, A Thousand Suns, The Home Wreckers and The Runners have all agreed to play to raise money for the local Libra Support Group on Thursday, August 31, at Jumpin Jaks on Stevenage Leisure Park.
Jumpin Jaks has also donated a Fender electric guitar that will be auctioned off on the night to raise money for the charity.
General manager Mark Atkins, who has been working closely with the charity for a long time, said: "We have been overwhelmed by the amount of support people have given for this night already and we hope it's going to help generate much money for people that really need it."
The Libra Support Group is a charity for the families of chronically and terminally ill children.
o Tickets can be bought on the door at £4 each.
