NEIGHBOURLY love will come to North Herts next Sunday with a giant street party set to take over Baldock High Street.

The Baldock BIG Lunch 2010 saw over 300 people turn out to break bread with their fellow residents and organisers hope the turn out will be bigger this year.

Murray Fastier, Baldock’s town centre manager, said: “Last year we put on a BIG barbeque for everyone, due to the success of that we have expanded the food options for this year bringing in two of the high streets long standing eateries to produce one of their specialities bringing in European and Asian flavours to the fun community event.”

Tickets are now on sale for the event, held on June 5, which will feature a barbeque, Greek cuisine and Indian dishes.

A giant bouncy castle, live music and free face painting will also add to the atmosphere.

Tickets are now available at Baldock phone shop m-viron, on White Horse Street, and the town’s community centre, for more information log on to www.baldocktown.co.uk
