After the success of Letchworth’s Christmas lights switch-on, the festivities have been continuing in the town centre too – with shoppers at Garden Square Shopping Centre brought into the spirit on Saturday with a visit from the magical snow lion, the Red Queen and her servant.

The show combined animatronic puppetry, impressive costumes and music to create a fun winter experience.

Giving feedback after the event, Heather Almond said: “It was a lovely magical touch to the town centre. Well done!”

Garden Square manager Jack Philbin said: “shopping centre came to a standstill as people watched in awe of this head-turning act. Footfall to the shopping centre significantly increased on the day. We look forward to hosting more events and shows at the shopping centre throughout 2018.”
