A 36-year-old Baldock man appeared before magistrates at Hatfield Remand Court this afternoon charged with attempted murder.
Keiren Batten, of Norton Road, was remanded in custody. He will appear before Luton Crown Court in January 5.
Mr Batten was arrested on Saturday following an incident when a woman was injured. She remains in hospital in a stable condition.
