Darts players in Baldock are doing their bit to help find a cure for cancer, with about £400 donated to Cancer Research UK.
The Greene King Baldock Darts League raised £278 for the charity over the last season, and at the end of the campaign league runners-up The Boot, who had nominated the charity, also donated their £120 runners-up prize, along with the proceeds of a raffle held on the night of the final.
Kevin Conheeney, captain of The Boot team, presented a cheque to Maurice Hill and Kathy Newman of Cancer Research UK, with Boot landlord Tom Curran looking on.
