MORE than a thousand motorbikes roared into town on Sunday.

On Sunday Baldock High Street was lined with motorbikes to celebrate the 17th Baldock Bike Bash show. The event which was hosted by The White Lion Pub on the High Street started at middady with bike enthusiasts riding their bikes to Baldock to show off their vehicles.

Displayed on the day were classic, vintage and customised bikes for people to see.

Owner of The White Lion pub, Steve Maylon said: “Despite a bit of drizzle the day was a great success and it went really well compared to last year which was a total wash out with the rain. We had a lot of people enjoying the day and showing off their bikes.”

People who visited the event enjoyed a barbecue and live music by Mickey Flynn. Money raised from the event was split between the Scouts and Garden House Hospice.
