A fundraising run will be taking place in aid of an equine therapy centre, based near Codicote.

Autism Angels supports hundreds of children, parents, carers and professionals who are affected by autism and other mental health issues.

The charity is based at East Hall Farm, St Paul’s Walden near Codicote, and uses equine facilitated coaching to help people.

This year’s St Paul’s Walden Bury Run will be taking place in aid of the charity on Sunday, September 23, at 11.30am.

The registration desk will be open from 10am and breakfast will be available for those who need an energy boost before they go.

Runners can tackle either 10k, 5K or the family friendly 2K challenge.

Now in its 13th year, the run takes place entirely within the picturesque grounds of The St Paul’s Walden Bury, attracting runners from the elite, to first-timers and fun runners.

The route encounters the beautiful historic Grade I gardens and covers green hills and undulating off-road terrain.

The event will also include a family wellbeing day.

Food will be provided by Nick Male of the Loft, St Albans.

Post race massages will be available from Halean Therapy and the Autism Angels ponies will be there to meet everyone.
