The author of an entertaining book on the demise of the record shop industry will be giving a talk on Monday night.

Graham Jones, author of Last Shop Standing will be recounting tales of how and why the once booming independent industry has collapsed.

Since its golden age in the 1980s, the number of record shops has dramatically declined, and Graham points a wry finger at incompetence, corruption and corporate greed.

The talk begins at 7pm at Davids Music in Letchworth GC and Graham will also be signing copies of his book.
