Last Monday it was unanimously agreed that the provision of a five-a-side facility for football and basketball, etc., should go ahead at the recreation ground. The North Herts District Council has given a £15,000 grant which will almost half the cost. Other environmental issues were discussed, including the possibility of a Parish Plan, details of which will be circulated in the village. Dave Kennett was co-opted onto the Parish Council. The proposal to install a dog waste bin in Stevenage Road was met with vigorous opposition.
