Held on August Bank Holiday Monday 2005 was very successful and over £12,000 was distributed to the following organisations: Scouts and Cubs £300: Brownies and Rainbows £300: Guides £250: Police Ben Fund £250: Royal British Legion £600: Nemnham PCC £500: Newnham Village Hall £800: Ashwell Village Hall £5,000: Ashwell PTA £1,500: Ashwell Playgroup £750:Senior Citizens £500: URC £300: Village Sports £200:Cottage Garden £200: Bell Ringers £50:Tennis Club £300:Cricket Club £300 and Football Club £300, Total £12,400.
