An Ashwell man has been charged with failing to provide a specimen of breath after a car crashed into the central reservation on the A505 between Baldock and Royston yesterday.
Ilias Kaperonis, of Colbron Close in Ashwell, has been charged with failing to provide the specimen in connection with the crash, which police officers were called to at about 10.30am on the eastbound carriageway near Ashwell.
The black Vauxhall Astra was recovered and the carriageway was cleared by 12.30pm.
No other cars were involved, and there were no injuries.
The 48-year-old has been released on bail and is due to appear at Stevenage Magistrates’ Court on April 11.
