Centre-back agrees extension with Stevenage until 2015
Jon Ashton has signed a new two-year deal with Stevenage.
The centre-back, who played just nine times last season due to injury, has agreed a deal that will keep him at the club until 2015.
The 30-year has made more than 160 appearances for Boro and last summer attracted serious interest from Doncaster Rovers only to remain at the club he joined in 2009.
Ashton is the second player to sign a new contract since the end of the season after goalkeeper Chris Day agreed a new one-year deal last week.
