PERSISTENT troublemaker Adele Field has been given a three-year anti-social behaviour order banning her from being a nuisance to her neighbours.

The 22-year-old from Ansell Court, Coreys Mill, Stevenage, was given the order by magistrates on Monday.

Under the order Field is prohibited from:

* Causing excessive noise through musical equipment, shouting and banging of the doors to be a nuisance to her neighbours.

* Acting in an abusive and insulting manner towards persons not of the same household.

Acting community inspector for Stevenage Jim Moatt said: "Yet again the courts have been extremely supportive of our applications for ASBOs in the area. All applications are a last resort in attempting to curb the behaviour of the individuals involved and I am continually encouraged by the positive attitudes of magistrates in Stevenage.

"Adele Field has caused significant trouble in the local area, particularly to her neighbours, and we hope that the introduction of the ASBO will encourage her to change her ways.
