TWO awards celebrating high quality work done by students have been earned by Camps Hill Community Primary School, Stevenage.

The Artsmark Gold Award and the ICT Mark Award were presented by town MP Barbara Follett in an assembly.

Pat Williams, ICT Mark assessor, said: "This is a school to brag about.

"It has great art and ICT facilities with an innovative website."

Camps Hill is also the first primary school in the county to follow the International Primary Curriculum which aims to encourage children to become fully engaged in their education and is a tool for developing children's passion for life-long learning.
