Opens on Saturday at the Denington Galleries, Springfield House, High Street, incorporates the Jim Watson Award for the 18th consecutive year. The award of £50 which is supported by the Stevenage Arts Guild commemorates the first president of Artists' Cooperative and is presented to the artist who is judged to have produced the best picture on show. The award winner, whose name is engraved on the award shield, is chosen by an independent judge who is also asked to pick two runners-up. The exhibition will continue until Saturday, March 11 and gallery opening times are 12-4 pm Monday to Friday and 10am-5pm Saturdays.
