Arrest made after stabbing outside Stevenage railway station

A man has been arrested after a stabbing outside Stevenage railway station this afternoon.

The attack took place at around 4.30pm, with an arrest being made nearby shortly afterwards.

The victim was taken to hospital and treated for his injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.

A spokeswoman from the British Transport Police said the man was “violently attacked and stabbed”.
