It was the sweet taste of victory for CHQ Architects this morning as they come out on top in Baldock’s Shrove Tuesday Pancake Day Race.

More than 100 people lined the High Street for the annual pancake-flipping run, but it seems to be ‘easy peasy lemon squeezy’ for the team at CHQ Arcitects who bagged first place for the fourth year in a row.

As well as two teams from the practice there were plenty more from the town including a clutch from retail display company Display Plan and a crew from The White Lion pub.

Baldock Town Partnership director Fraser Valentine said: “We had lots of people in the town centre and 11 teams taking part.

“It was a fantastic event which raised £200 for the Baldock Rotary Club.”
