YOUNGSTERS can prepare to have a splashing good time this summer!

AN AQUA play area opens on Monday for the summer season.

The facility at Fairlands Valley Park in Stevenage contains equipment that sprays, squirts, mists and sheets water, and features and games can be scaled up or down according to the ages of the children who are playing.

Cllr Howard Burrell, Stevenage Borough Council’s executive member for children and young people, culture, sport and leisure, said: “The aqua play area was tremendously popular last summer when it opened for the first time and I am sure that it will once again be a huge success, particularly if we get the promised long hot summer.

“If you haven’t seen it for yourself yet, why not come along and have a look?”
