Detectives have issued a photo of a man who is wanted by police.
Officers would like to speak to Daryl Brothers, 28, as they believe he may have information on a serious assault and false imprisonment at an address in Hitchin on January 9.
Mr Brothers has connections to Hitchin and Stevenage, as well as to the Lewisham area of South London and also Maidstone in Kent.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Hertfordshire Police immediately on 101 quoting : OPERATION ANDALUSITE -ISR 58 of the 09/01/2014.
