Officers have today appealed for witnesses and information following the theft of a black Honda moped in Letchworth.
The moped, which had been left locked, was stolen from outside a home in Campers Avenue between 8pm on Sunday, June 4, and 11am the next morning.
PCSO Tia Lambert said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw the moped being taken, or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the stated time to get in touch.
“I’d also like to hear form anyone who may have been offered a moped fitting the description for sale.”
Anyone with information should call Herts police on 101, quoting crime reference G2/17/1296. Alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or crimestoppers-uk.org.
