It’s time to dust off your family heirlooms and search your attics as Antiques Roadshow rolls into Bedfordshire next month.

The BBC One show is coming to Wrest Park in Silsoe on July 19, with free entry to the event that runs from 9.30am to 4.30pm.

Alison Austin, English Heritage’s operations manager at Wrest Park, said: “We are thrilled to be welcoming the Antiques Roadshow to Wrest Park this summer and I can’t wait to see what hidden treasures visitors will bring along the day.”

Presented by Fiona Bruce, the show is filming for its 41st series. It is one of the BBC’s most popular programmes.

Antiques Roadshow series producer Robert Murphy is excited to be visiting the English Heritage site.

“We are looking forward to welcoming thousands of visitors when we bring Antiques Roadshow to Wrest Park,” he said.

“It’s a great free, family day out and you can see how we make one of BBC One’s most popular programmes. You never know what will be the special object, and our team of experts look forward to helping visitors discover the story of their item’s past.”
