This event for parishioners is on Saturday, from 6.30pm onwards with the bonfire at 9pm. This will be the 14th annual picnic held to celebrate the acquisition, by the village, of the Bury. As usual, there will be live music, this year featuring songs from the 50's. There will be an interlude of 60's songs and a finale of the Ashokan Farewell complete with violin (if you have not heard it your life is not complete). There is no charge for this event, but a bucket will be passed around to raise funds for the schooling of Taniel in the Lebanon who is being sponsored by St. Mary's' Little Hands Group and Bible Study Group, contact 712139.
