Did you see this group of angels outside The Angels in Hitchin?
They’re from a youth group at Hitchin Christian Centre called APPRENTICE – and they were giving out Christmas goodie bags on the Westmill estate on Sunday.
John Pope, manager of The Angels, opened up the pub especially for the group – and blessed the youngsters with free crisps.
Hitchin Christian Centre APPRENTICE leader Matt Adcock said: “I believe that bringing cheer at Christmas is an essential part of what makes this season so special.
“It was great to take our APPRENTICE angels out on the street and give gifts to those we met. We’re very grateful to John at The Angels for the hospitality too.
“APPRENTICE meets on Sunday mornings at The Priory School – if you’re aged 11 to 14, you’re very welcome.
“There are some great events coming up at HCC over the Christmas period, so hopefully see you there!”
