Officers are now “very concerned” for the welfare of a missing man of whom there have been no sightings since Wednesday – and have appealed for dash cam footage to help find him.

Andrew McGuinn, 53, was last seen near the Burger King in Baldock Road, between Letchworth and Baldock, at 7.30am on Wednesday last week.

Police are hoping that he may have been captured on camera by drivers after the last sighting of him.

Det Insp Michael Keane said: “If you were driving in that area and were recording on your dash cam at the time, we would like to hear from you. Please contact us via 101 as soon as possible.”

Andrew is described as a white man, about 6ft tall and of stocky build, with a bald head, a goatee beard and a tattoo on his right arm.
