There were smiles all-round at a Hitchin pre-school when they held a special events week.
The popular Strathmore Fun Club that offers child care and activities for young children held a series of fun-packed events that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
The kids took part in an obstacle challenge, jumped for joy on a bouncy castle, had their hair coloured on Mad Hair Day’, bopped in a disco, had henna tattoos applied and to finish the week took part in a splash and paddle party.
Manager of the club based on Strathmore School on Old Hale Way, Amanda Wright, told the Comet: “It was a really great week.
“The children loved taking part in all the events including the ‘Mad Hair Day’ which was especially popular.
“Boys and girls joined in with all the colours of the rainbow.
“The feedback we’ve had from parents has been amazing. They also kindly donated towards school funds so we can buy more equipment.
“I’d just like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved in making the week such a success, including all the hard-working staff.
“We were even lucky with the weather!”
