Sunday, April 2 at 6pm The Crucifixion is a musical meditation on the Passion of Jesus. The music is by Sir John Stainer and the words, mainly taken from the Bible, are arranged by the Rev William Sparrow-Simpson is being presented as an act of worship at the church, soloists are Leslie King (bass) and Jack Cornwell (tenor). The organist is Philip Rogers and Very Rev John Morley will conduct. The piece lasts just over an hour, everyone will be most welcome and a retiring collection will be made.
