A GRADUATE will have the experience of a lifetime when she travels to Ghana to volunteer as a physiotherapist for three months.
Alison Fulcher, of The Birches, Letchworth GC, has just completed a degree in physiotherapy at the University of East Anglia and sets off for Accra in October.
The 22-year-old said: "During the trip I will be helping an isolated community, passing on my skills to people that are so underprivileged that they do not have the opportunity to receive adequate medical attention without our help."
Alison is travelling with Gap Sports Abroad - an organisation dedicated to helping community-based development in underprivileged areas.
