A doctor was flown by ambulance to Ransoms Rec in Hitchin to treat a woman who had fallen and injured her hip this afternoon.
Letchworth paramedics called in the Herts air ambulance shortly before 12.30pm to treat a 61-year-old woman with a dislocated hip.
The woman was taken by road to Lister Hospital.
