An air ambulance landed in a Stevenage school playing field this afternoon after a 15-year-old boy suffered a head injury.
The helicopter was called at 3.20pm after reports that the teenager had been injured.
It landed in Barnwell School playing field.
The casualty was assessed by paramedics before being flown to the Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge for treatment.
The circumstances of the injury are yet to be confirmed and it is not yet known if he was a pupil at the school.
