An air ambulance landed in Stevenage yesterday afternoon after a woman fell from a ladder.
Paramedics were called to Randals Hill in the Shephall area at 5.07pm, with the ambulance service despatching a rapid response vehicle, ambulance crew and the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance – which landed on nearby Hyde Green.
A woman, believed by medics to be aged in her 40s, was treated at the scene before being taken to the town’s Lister Hospital by road ambulance with suspected back, shoulder and ankle injuries.
A spokeswoman said her injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
