Air ambulance lands in Hitchin after man collapses

An air ambulance has landed in a park in Hitchin this morning after a man collapsed.
The man, in his 70s, went into cardiac arrest shortly before 11am on Taylor’s Hill near to Standhill Road.
A crew from the Essex Air Ambulance landed at the Recreation Ground off St John’s Road and are still at the scene, along with colleagues from the ambulance service.
