An air ambulance landed in Hitchin yesterday afternoon to attended to an injured person.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance was called after reports of a person falling in Shepherds Mead at 1.16pm, with the helicopter landing on The Priory School’s playing fields.
An ambulance and rapid response vehicle also attended the scene, and a spokesman for the ambulance service said they were taken to hospital for further treatment.
