An air ambulance was called to a Letchworth car parts manufacturing business after a man injured his head from a fall.
Emergency services were called to GSF Car Parts in Works Road at about 4pm on Tuesday afternoon to attend to a man in his 40s who had suffered head injuries which are thought to be serious.
An ambulance spokesman said the man was experiencing ‘reduced levels of consciousness’ when he was initially treated by a response officer.
A air ambulance was called to the scene but the man was taken to Stevenage’s Lister Hospital by road, and was still receiving treatment when the Comet went to press.
