Air ambulance called after Letchworth teenager falls from her horse

AN air ambulance was called after a 15-year-old Letchworth GC girl fell from a horse on Boxing Day in a field close to Chesfield Downs Golf Club, Graveley. The teenager was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to Lister Hospital by land ambulance

AN air ambulance was called after a 15-year-old Letchworth GC girl fell from a horse on Boxing Day in a field close to Chesfield Downs Golf Club, Graveley.

The teenager was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to Lister Hospital by land ambulance where she was treated for a leg injury.

East of England Ambulance Service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: "Due to the location and conditions of the field, our colleagues in Essex dispatched their air ambulance to the scene.

"Thankfully, after assessments by paramedic, the young girl was taken by land ambulance to hospital with a minor injury.
