Afternoon Concert at Benslow

Oboe and String Trio: Penny Manning, oboe and the Terzetto string trio: Wendy Brook, violin, Juan Drown, viola and Peter Neville, cello will be performing at the Friends next Monday Afternoon concert at Little Benslow Hills starting at 3.30 pm on Monday.

Oboe and String Trio: Penny Manning, oboe and the Terzetto string trio: Wendy Brook, violin, Juan Drown, viola and Peter Neville, cello will be performing at the Friends' next Monday Afternoon concert at Little Benslow Hills starting at 3.30 pm on Monday. All the players are active in the Hertfordshire musical scene and well known for their ensemble performances, solo recitals and teaching. The programme includes an oboe quartet by local composer, Melvin Sutton who will be introducing his piece, which has a lively and happy character. Other works by Ignaz Pleyel and Mozart will also be performed. The concerts are held on the second Monday each month and take place in the Peter Morrison Hall, Benslow Music Trust, Benslow Lane, Hitchin. Admission is £6 at the door, and includes homemade tea.
