Roadworks will see closures in place from today on the A1(M) and A1 in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
There will be hard shoulder closures on the A1(M) today between Junction 2 for Welham Green and Junction 10 for Baldock services.
This closure will be in place for around five days to allowed technology repair works in various locations.
Resurfacing will also take place on the A1(M) northbound for junction 10 to the Biggleswade south roundabout of the A1. Here, work will continue on for two midweek nights from Monday – specific timings have not been given.
Juction 10 will be closed and a signed diversion will be in place at all times – nearby residents will be escorted through the works to their homes.
Resurfacing will also be taking place on Wednesday for three nights on the A1 southbound Biggleswade south roundabout to Junction 10.
The carriageway at Biggleswade south roundabout will be closed. Again, residents will be escorted to their homes by a gateman.
