Who’s the navigator here? Stevenage Community Trust chairman Robert Stewart and son Callum took a punt on the best place to start a fundraising tandem ride from Cambridge – but will be opting for firmer ground when the challenge starts in earnest.
Robert will be spending his 50th birthday on Wednesday, April 8, cycling the 50 miles to Stevenage, with support from Callum.
Their trusty tandem has been re-sprayed to promote the Trust, and anyone donating £25 could win a £1,000 jackpot when a winner is picked out by Stevenage mayor Sherma Batson as the duo roll into town.
The aim is to raise £25,000 to celebrate the Trust’s 25th anniversary year – find out how to get involved on the Virginmoneygiving.com website, search Stevenage Community Trust.
