An intriguing title for a talk by June Crew to the next meeting of the Letchworth Gate Afternoon Townswomen's Guild, on Friday, November 10, at the Central Methodist Church, Norton Way South, starting at 2.15pm. Admission 50p visitors welcome. At the Guild's last meeting, Anne Doody gave an interesting talk on the history and legend of flowers. Nan Appleby gave the vote of thanks. In the business section of the meeting, Joan Bennett reported on the recent Federation meeting and arrangements for a visit to Huntingdon Garden Centre.
