Rarely will a concert of the high quality heard last Sunday evening have been heard at St. Mary's Church. The recital given by the bass, James Gower, was an absolute joy. James, an associate artist with Welsh National Opera, delighted a most responsive audience with songs from Purcell to Jerome Kern. Funds raised at the concert are for the St. Mary's Upper Room project.
