People living in Hitchin have been busy snapping shots of a red hot air balloon which landed in the grounds of a school last night.
At around 6.45pm a Virgin balloon which had been in the skies over North Herts was spotted slowly descending, landing on the hockey pitch at Hitchin Girls’ School.
It is not yet clear why the balloon had to land there.
