PRIORY School headteacher Peter Loach said that he was “so proud” of his school’s A-Level students, in which more than 75 per cent of their grades were A* to C.
More than half of the grades were A* to B at the Hitchin school, and all Advanced Level BTEC students gained a pass or higher grade.
One student who got particularly impressive grades was Lily Wonham, whose 3 A*s and an A have gained her a place at Oxford University to study Archaeology and Anthropology.
Mr Loach said: “Governments keep raising the bar and Priory students keep clearing it! We are, as ever, so proud of their achievements.
“Students’ and teachers’ hard work and parents’ patience have paid off yet again. We are thrilled for them as they move on to their next big challenge at university or employment.”
