Pupils at a Hitchin School were celebrating after receiving their exam results this morning.
Hard-working students at The Priory School on Bedford Road were up early to receive their grades.
Luschia Laws, 18, from Bearton Road managed to get an A in drama, a B in Art and a D in Media. The teenager told the Comet: “I’m really happy as I wasn’t expecting to get an A. I’m probably going to take a year out, then go to University. I’m so pleased.”
Her mother Tasha Laws added: “We are so proud of her, she’s worked so hard to pass her A-levels.”
