A 16-year-old boy has been charged with GBH with intent after a stabbing in Stevenage on Friday.
Police were called at around 3.30pm to Swingate in the town centre, where a man in his 30s had slash wounds to his back.
Emergency services treated the man, who was then airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge for further care.
The teenager has also been charged with possession of a bladed article. He is set to appear in court today.
Anyone who witnessed this incident and has not yet spoken with police should call 101, quoting ISR 470 of January 5.
